The Okinawa Meteorological Agency announced the morning of June 20 that the rainy season had finished for the Okinawa region. It ends one day earlier than the yearly average (June 21), and thirteen days earlier than the previous year (July 3). The rainy season started around May 4 this year, six days earlier than the yearly average (May 10). The rainy season lasted for 47 days.

The coming week will see humid air and clouds brought from the south by the remaining rainy season storm front, however it will be followed by a high-pressure system bringing clear skies.
