As part of the 7th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival, the “Umanchu Cultural Exchange Festival,” an event to promote cultural exchange among Uchinanchu people from Japan and abroad, was held on October 31 at Okinawa Cellular Park in Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha. The event also featured a stage for performances of Okinawan songs and dances, as well as exhibitions and booths selling goods.
At the exhibition booth, there were life-size panels of the cast of NHK's TV series "Chimu-don-don" and a corner about Namie Amuro and Ryo Kyuna, who received the prefectural honorary award, where many people took commemorative photos.
At the culture workshop booth, visitors were able to experience traditional Ryukyuan dress and karajiyui, and reservations were flooded from the morning.
Yasaru Yamaguchi, 34, a third-generation Uchinanchu from Peru who experienced Ryuso (traditional okinawan clothing) for the first time, said, "Okinawan culture is very interesting, and I have been interested in Ryuso for a long time. I was happy to have my picture taken.

En el marco de la 7ª Convención Mundial Uchinanchu, el 31 de octubre se celebró el "Festival de Intercambio Cultural Uchinanchu" en el Parque Celular de Okinawa, en el Estadio Celular de Okinawa, en la ciudad de Naha, con el objetivo de promover el intercambio cultural entre los Uchinanchu de Japón y del extranjero. En el recinto, además de un escenario en el que se interpretaban canciones y danzas de Okinawa, había exposiciones y puestos de venta de productos.
En los stands de la exposición había paneles a tamaño real del reparto de la serie de televisión de la NHK "Chimudon-don" y un rincón con Namie Amuro y Ryo Hisana, que recibieron el Premio de Honor de los Ciudadanos de la Prefectura, donde mucha gente se hizo fotos conmemorativas.
En el stand del Taller de Cultura, los visitantes pudieron probarse los trajes folclóricos de Ryukyuan y el karajiyui, y las reservas se inundaron desde la mañana.
Yasushi Yamaguchi, de 34 años, uchinanchu de tercera generación procedente de Perú, que experimentó la vestimenta de Ryukyuan por primera vez, dijo: "La cultura de Okinawa es muy interesante y siempre me ha interesado la vestimenta de Ryukyuan. Me alegré de que me hicieran una foto".
