During the period, various events such as Shuri Castle projection mapping and karate workshops will be held. 4 languages (Japanese, English, Spanish, Portuguese) are available, and the goal is to attract 100,000 visitors during the 11days until the7th.The event attracted approximately 50,000 visitors over the four-day period from October 28 to 31.
Naoyuki Sahashi, general manager of Ashibi Company (President: Yoshihiko Katagiri), which operates the event, said, "We hope that the online event will spark interest in Okinawa and the festival not only among Uchinanchu overseas, but also among people within the Okinawa Prefecture and Japan who are unfamiliar with the festival.
